The glass box is the perfect size for storing cotton swabs on my vanity, and the recycled steel lid has a cool industrial look with its natural wear. I was worried about the oil smell from the lid, but it’s actually quite faint and hasn’t transferred to the contents after a few days.

The recycled oil-can lid has that rugged, used look—rust, scratches, and all—which I actually love for my bathroom counter. It does smell faintly like old metal, but it hasn't transferred to the cotton swabs inside. Glass is thick enough that it feels sturdy, and the size is perfect for a vanity.

The steel lid made from a recycled oil can is such a cool touch, and the glass box looks great holding my cotton swabs on the bathroom shelf. The lid does have a strong smell and some scuffs, but that's part of the recycled charm for me.
