I was worried the recycled material might look uneven, but the subtle color variations actually give it a nice, natural texture. It’s surprisingly soft underfoot and lays flat right out of the package.

The recycled cotton feels thicker and more textured than I expected, which gives it a nice handmade look in my dorm room. It’s already softened up a bit after the first wash, though the color did lighten slightly—just worth knowing.

I wasn’t sure about the size when I ordered, but at roughly 104 by 175 cm it fits perfectly under my desk, and the recycled cotton blend feels surprisingly sturdy underfoot. The slight variation in the yarn’s color actually gives it a nice, one-of-a-kind texture that I’ve grown to like more each day
