ハンドルは、マーケットで学校の制服のベルトとして流通しているものを見つけた。配色に80年代を感じる。
その中からセレクトした70色を使用した。 同じ素材・配色が今後見つかるかどうかは分からない。 張り感があり自立するしっかりとしたキャンバス地は、洗って日光によく当て乾かすと、固く目が詰まって無骨な表情になる。
大きいトートバッグにありがちな、「ポケットがない」不満にお応えして、同ベルトを使用したポーチ(COLLEGE PASS CASE)も作成した。
