インドにある繊維街で、ハギレばかりを取り扱う専門店を見つけた。
鮮やかなネオンカラーの生地は、インドの女性が身にまとう民族衣装であるサリーの生地だという。
サリーは5m〜9mの一枚布を体に巻き付けて着用するので、生地は薄く軽やか。バッグにするには強度が足りないため、白いタオル生地を裏地にした。

生地が薄く繊細なため、糸がつっていたり(6枚目画像)、糸がよれて穴のようになっている(7枚目画像)部分があります。裏地にタオルを使用しているため、パイルが飛び出ていたり、ほつれがある場合がございます。ベルトはユーズドのため汚れや黄ばみがあります。直射日光・蛍光灯に長時間あたることによって、色褪せ・変色の恐れがございます。
